Oct 3 , Offshore today w/ Carol & the gang !!! These guys caught some blackfin tuna & a yellowfin ,, along w/ black belly rose fish & a Mahi for dinner ,, then we spent some time trying again for swordfish,, & hooked one first try , but after the battle began , it surfaced & the hook pulled out . Oct 1 , starting out on a grassline , we got about 25 dolphin to start out , & later caught 1out of double yellowfin tuna , & mid day decided to try our luck for a Swordfish, & landed thus sweet 304 lb fish !!! Sept 28 , after a cold front yesterday, we were back out today , Spanish Mackeral fishing first half was great , & second part we pulled the hook on a 50 lb King Mackeral on the leader , while pulling plugs ,,, but a beautiful day 😎#pennreels #berkleyfishing #boweduplures #greentophuntfish

Sept 20th , fun group this morning, we set out w/ intentions of King Mackeral & or Cobia . Cobia are exiting the bay now & season is open through end of September. After a strong Northeaster , we caught 2 cobia out of 6 seen , & saw 1 King Mackeral air out , but no bites . Sept 11th , 2019 we took these guys out this morning on a four hr fishing trip ,, caught some very large Spanish Mackeral , & were also trying for Kings ,, however in the area we last caught Kings was covered up w/ rays ,,, we ended up catching 2 keeper cobias out of 5 bites we had ! Wright to check on availability. Please leave a message if there is no answer and he will get back to you as soon as he gets back to the docks!

If you are a walk-on please call the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at 757-491-8000. They are the only facility capable of successfully putting together walk-ons!

Booking & Cancellations

Fishing trips are booked on a first come, first served basis. We require a credit card number to reserve your trip; however, you may decide how you wish to pay on the day of the trip. You may cancel your trip up to TWO weeks prior of your trip date without penalty. After you are within the two week period, your trip is confirmed. Should you choose to cancel or do not show up, 50% of your total trip cost will be charged to the card on file. In cases of inclement weather, the decision to leave the dock is at the SOLE discretion of Captain Dave. If your trip is cancelled you will NOT be responsible for any payment of the trip. However, please remember this decision is up to Captain Dave & is made with both the safety of all passengers & the boat in mind.
