The High Hopes is able to accommodate all sorts of fishing trips and those with all levels of experience! Check out our fish guide below to see what is expected to be caught on each trip during the current season:
Offshore: Daytime Swordfishing, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna (Yellowfin/Big Eye), Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Wahoo, Seabass
All Day Inshore: Spanish Mackerel, Taylor Bluefish, Cobia, Red Drum, Flounder.
1/2 Day Inshore (4hr): Primarily Spanish Mackerel, Taylor Bluefish, and Ribbonfish.
1/2 Day Inshore (5hr): Our most popular trip! Spanish Mackerel, Taylor Bluefish, Ribbonfish, Cobia, Red Drum.
We are able to run other types of trips (i.e. longer, shorter, family fishing, etc.) depending on scheduling availability – please call Captain Wright for more information!
We have a fish cleaner on hand for you when we arrive back at the docks if you wish to have your fish cleaned for you.
What to bring: Sunscreen, shades and a hat. Most people load up coolers with food and drink- bring whatever you would like; however, please leave the glass at home! There is one mate on board who will be assisting you and who works strictly for tips. While it is up to your discretion, we generally recommend tipping the same way you would in a restaurant- 15%-20%.
